MPVM Ambassador Resources
All MPVM affiliates (students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends) are invited to be MPVM Ambassadors
What is an MPVM Ambassador? You are individuals who highlight your affiliation with the MPVM Program, help recruit new students, and share Program activities and opportunities with the world at large.
You could
- Insert a slide about the MPVM into a PowerPoint talk that you give as a guest lecture or at a scientific meeting
- Deliver an entire PowerPoint presentation about the MPVM to some outside audience
- Make sure that you and your mentorees acknowledge MPVM on your talks and papers where appropriate (Grad Studies now requires graduate students at UCD to acknowledge their Graduate Groups)
- “Table” or bring flyers and branded swag to some group to advertise the MPVM
- Network and send emails and announcements about MPVM achievements and application due-dates
- Help fund-raise for scholarships and endowments
