Siripatsorn Pongtarakulpanit

Siripatsorn Pongtarakulpanit, also known as Kaow, earned her DVM from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. As an undergraduate, she joined a One Health course and discovered her true passion for the epidemiology field. Following graduation, she gained clinical experience as a veterinarian at a companion animal hospital. Kaow then joined FAO’s Regional Asia Pacific Office as an intern with the ECTAD team, contributing to disease surveillance, early warning, and project management while engaging with international events and organizations. Her research interests include zoonotic diseases, disease surveillance, and socio-economic aspects of public health. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, gaming, and playing table tennis.
