Huishan Li earned a Bachelor of Agriculture degree in Veterinary Medicine at South China Agricultural University in June 2025. Her professional and research experiences are notably diverse. She used to serve as a core member in a project investigating the role of estradiol and autophagy in canine mammary tumors, where she was responsible for performing Western Blot experiments and data analysis. She has also contributed as a research assistant at Xinjiang Lab, gaining hands-on experience in bacterial detection from wildlife and duck farms, as well as in the prokaryotic expression of the interleukin-6 receptor. Complementing her research, Huishan has accumulated over 650 hours of clinical veterinary shadowing at Animal Hospital, assisting in consultations, surgeries, and laboratory diagnostics. Outside of her academic pursuits, she has volunteered as a first-aid provider at public events and as an introductory docent at an art gallery. In her personal time, she is passionate about creating various handmade items and delicious food, while enjoying music or her favorite episodes.
