Musab Muhffel

Musab Muhffel is a Dairy Production Medicine resident at UC Davis. Originally, from Syria, he pursued his veterinary education at the Jordan University of Science and Technology and graduated in 2012. Following Musab's graduation, he worked for nearly 8-year in the field of veterinary medicine, primarily focusing on dairy farming in Jordan. During this time, Musab completed his master's degree in large animal internal medicine. In 2019, he returned to Syria and worked in livestock with his dad who is also a vet. In 2022, Musab moved to Davis to continue his residency. For his research, he works with Dr. Heidi Rossow and Dr. Sharif Ali on the long-term impact of prebiotic and probiotic on heath, production are reproduction performance for lactating dairy cows.
