Team MitoFluidics wins Brink Award!

Congratulations to Team MitoFluidics constituted by undergraduate students Atena Tork (AvenueM), Rida Mullah (Bridges to Baccalaurate), and Jennifer Dang (AvenueM and Bridges to Baccalaurate) from the Departments of Molecular Biosciences, SVM under the guidance of Dr. Cecilia Giulivi. They won the Brink Award on November 14th, 2024 at the Sac State University-Wide Innovation Competition!

This competition provides innovators and entrepreneurs with a platform to showcase their ideas, technologies, or businesses while benefiting from mentorship.

From a pool of 25 applicants, they were selected as one of nine finalists. The students delivered an impressive pitch—five minutes of presentation followed by a three-minute Q&A. While all the finalists excelled, only four teams were awarded honors, and these students stood out among the best.
