Morgan Steinhilber
Morgan Steinhilber is from Orange County, California. She studied animal science as an undergraduate at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. After earning her bachelor’s degree, she volunteered at the Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center in Huntington Beach, where she developed an interest in wildlife rehabilitation and conservation. While working at the Irvine Animal Care Center, she discovered her passion for the care of shelter animal populations and public education and outreach. These experiences prompted her to pursue veterinary public health after recognizing the value of animal health and welfare, in both shelter and wildlife populations, as it pertains to overall community health. She plans to continue her education in veterinary school after completing her master’s in preventive veterinary medicine, and spends her free time crocheting and camping!
