Ayushi Gupta

Ayushi Gupta is a veterinarian from India, where she earned her Bachelor’s of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H) in December 2024. As an undergraduate, she completed a one-year rotation, gaining clinical and Yield experience working with veterinary hospitals, animal welfare organizations, and animal birth control centers. She has also completed a research training at Jeju National University, South Korea, working on mouse models. Her research interests include epidemiology, zoonotic diseases, and the One Health approach. She is interested in exploring the use of predictive epidemiology in disease surveillance, outbreak investigations and management during her MPVM, with a goal of contributing to global health initiatives at the human-animal-environment interface. Outside academics, she likes reading, painting, and walking in nature.
